The clock does its job. But beaware: - When looking at the iCheckClock window, you can’t check rapidly enough whether a clock is running or not. There is the button “Pause”/“Start”, but it’s hard to tell from its label what is the current status of the clock. “Start/Pause/Resume” would have been better. A clever use of typography would be even better. What I do, instead, is carefully check if the time on my current clock changes. - Now, be careful, and this is a very big issue for me: If you press the Escape key, that will reset your running clock. I don’t think that the developers earn a living by the hour, because if they did, once they’ve experienced losing (say) 25 minutes of billeable time because of a wrong keystroke, they’d fix that bug right away.

It could include miliseconds

This app is great and it does the job nicely, but it could be integrated into the menu bar with a nice icon to be more efficient.

This program works really well. I had 6 Job Tasks I wanted to track and was able to enter the text to describe each task on its own line and operate each Start/Pause button as required to show elapsed time in Seconds,Minutes and Hours. When I exited the program, it saved my text for when I re-opened the program. Excellent! This means I can work on a task and record the elapsed time, pause the current task and switch to recording the time for another task and so on. Perfect for tracking work time in a business!

Simple and does just what you need it to without getting in the way. Exactly what I was looking for!

It dosent work in new os Mavericks!!!! In previous was fine

Really nice little app! The day it will ask you to confirm before deleting your data, it will be perfect. Now its just too easy to delete your data by accidentally pressing the "-" or "Reset" buttons…

Nice to see how long youve worked on a task but I wish the application counted down instead of just counting up

I work with billable hours at work all the time... Generally working on 5 to 6 projects at a time... This app is perfect to simply keep track of the time youre working on a certain project or mulitiple projects. Its exactly what Ive been looking for.

I totally agree with Reedxyz, I wish it would count down. I got this app expecting to be able to allot an amount of time to finish a task. It does what it does and does it well, seeing how long youve been working on a task.

I thought this should work for my students many projects. But this app doesnt work if the computer is asleep-probably great if all your projects are on the computer, but not so much if you are including off-computer projects. (practicing an instrument, reading, craftwork, etc)

While this application is simple and generally great for its intended use, there is one big flaw: it is far too easy to lose your time. The Reset and the "-" buttons are too easy to click accidentally, and there is no confirmation. A simple confirmation ("Are you sure?") before resetting the clock or deleting the entire entry would be welcome improvements. Moving the reset button farther away from start-stop would also help, as would making the "-" button smaller. The second problem is that this application does not behave in the expected OS X manner when closing the main window. When you click to close, the app shuts down, when instead it should remain running in the dock like standard Mac applications do.

Having some double checking system in place when restarting or deleting a timer/stopwach would be appreciated. Otherwise it is a solid way to track time spent doing whatever.

This app is helpful for timing freelance projects Im working on, but as the list gets longer older tasks start to disappear. On my iMac it displays up to 22 tasks at a time, but if I add a 23rd task, the first task disappears! Instead of adding a scroll bar and letting me browse through the entire list, it only displays the 22 most recently added tasks. When I delete a completed task, then that first task reappears at the top of the list so the app isnt deleting it, its just hiding it. Im glad the tasks arent being deleted at least.

This is wonderful. If I am planning a concert I can see at a glance every single piece I have timed, and I can create a new time for a shortned version and compare the two: "The Nightingale" and "The Nightingale ending at page 4." Bravo! And the price is right for freelance musicians :) The comments about putting the start and reset buttons farther away from each other are right on. Its too easy to hit the wrong button by mistake.

I like the app. It is simple and does what I need it to do, which is keep track of time for multiple tasks that you can label. However, it is really frustrating that I cannot copy and paste into the label field using keyboard shortcuts, only via the right-click menu. With a few tweaks, this app would be perfect. Please consider a revision.
